Of course the mechanics are a bit dated and the puzzles can be a bit hard, but I can assure you that even with a walkthrough, you can have an enjoyable ride, since I did exactly that when playing the last time between 5-10 years ago. It is a great game with great characters spoken by very knowledgeable voices from it's time (I can only speak about the german voices). I could just open my drawer right beside me and pull out the 4 DVD-Pack of this game, but setting it up on new systems was always a pain, so having a steam version is very nice. Nothing my small brain could possibly understand properly. The way how the characters phrase their sentences is very unique and conversations show a very suppressed society. Still it is a dark game and funnily enough I most likely didn't understand the story of the game at all as a child.
This is one of my childhood games, which is why I am feeling highly nostalgic. Original and memorable characters that will fascinate, surprise and often repulse you.
